Why Give?
Make a Difference
Help Musicians is a charity close to my heart. I have dealt with injury for decades, which has prevented me from performing until now so I know how much impact it can have on musicians’ lives if they cannot do what they love most - sharing music.
Be Part of the Solution
Help Musicians is a charity that assists musicians on many levels - whether recovering from physical injury, assisting with mental health issues, or providing advisory service on various issues regarding employment.
Inspire Others
Your generosity can motivate friends, family, and colleagues to do the same.

Help Musicians
"Music touches us like nothing else on earth. It lifts us, consoles us, breaks our hearts, then heals them, makes us laugh, love, cry, and feel things more intensely. That’s pretty special. But making it all happen is challenging.
Work as a musician is mostly on a freelance basis meaning there is little structured support in place in a profession that has many ups and downs. Opportunities are hard-won whilst challenges come along all too easily, with unsteady income and physical and mental health concerns common issues. We are here for musicians from when they are starting out and right through their working lives – helping them adapt skills, manage opportunity and overcome barriers. We are also alongside musicians when they decide to transition into a life beyond music.
For 105 years, Help Musicians has been working hard to make a meaningful difference to the lives of musicians in work and retirement, across all genres. Enabling musicians to keep making the music we all love.
We are a vital safety net in times of need helping musicians with their financial, physical and mental health. Making sure that the talent we have in the U.K continues to thrive.
We all benefit from music in our lives, and it is only through the generosity of our supporters that we can continue our work to help thousands of musicians each year.
If you love music, join us to support those who make it possible.
